Hey friends, welcome to my crib!

I recently moved to the Twin Cities over the summer, and this is the first home I have lived in entirely on my own! I was set on wanting to live alone for many reasons, but one of the biggest being that I wanted to curate my space to be something that's authentically me. I love home design and have watched way too much HGTV in my lifetime, so that being said I really poured my heart into this space and am excited to give you all a tour!

The Living Room

One thing I knew I wanted in my home was a small sectional, and I found the perfect one. It is just the right size for my home. The coffee table is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I found it on Facebook Marketplace and it was handmade! I have more western accent pieces over here, and the rug is one of my favorite purchases I've ever made.

This corner of the house is one I am the most proud of because I feel it shows my personality the most. I created a gallery wall that has a number of things I love incorporated on it or things close to me. I have a poster of a wave form of each song from my favorite album of all time, Storyteller by Carrie Underwood. I also have a painting of Bodie, a map of my hometown, a poster of Rome because it is one of my favorite places I've ever been, and then I've also included a lot of western features all of the living room. I also have a small bar that I would love to expand to include more wine for entertaining.

I chose to save space on my main floor by not putting a dining room in, but rather putting stools to the counter to serve as a breakfast bar in order to have more living space for when I have friends over.

My Room

Pink is my favorite color, so there is blush pink all over this space. The only thing here that's missing is the curtains. I have them but cannot get them to stay up by myself haha. This space is simple and feels clean.

This is another part of my house I think I will also be rearranging and redecorating all the time. I didn't want a TV in this space because I wanted it to be a spot I could unwind. I also didn't plan on having a natural theme throughout my room, but as I was shopping for accents and furniture it just came to be. The drawing on my wall is one of my favorite things I own. My brother drew it himself and gave it to me one year for Christmas.

My Office

This is a space I feel I will constantly be redecorating and rearranging. I spend a lot of time here throughout the work week, and it's a place I exude all of my creative energy so I want that to be showcased throughout. I have made sure to include bright colors to make it a happy place as well. It's also a place that reflects how far I've come with all of the commemorative items I've accumulated from my job over the years.
