I thank God I wasn't good at volleyball. I say that because I thought that was my future, a dream I had when I was in middle school. It wasn't until one day in the seventh grade, a friend told me I should work in football like Erin Andrews since I loved the game. Me being young, I said I wanted to be the one being interviewed, not the interviewer. However, I thought on it for awhile and decided she was right. I should become a sports reporter. Since that day I never looked back, and I'm so happy I realized I should chase another dream because I was terrible at volleyball. I went on to attend St. Cloud State University where I earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications. During my time at school I was very involved at our campus TV station. I was a sports anchor, host of our weekly sports show 'Husky Mag', was a sideline reporter for football and basketball, and most notably was the rinkside reporter for our men's hockey team. Upon graduation, my first job out of school was with the Minnesota Wild as their in-arena host and also hosted a show called 'Wild Amplified'.
